Pricing

The software that keeps you inside the 10%.

Under §25F, no more than 10% of donations can cover administration, and doing that work by hand breaks the cap. SGO Software is priced inside the 10%, around a 3% transaction fee on donations, in exchange for the four products an SGO would otherwise stitch together and the engineering to keep them in sync. Your quote is scoped to your program: the states you operate in, your donor and applicant volume, and the surfaces you turn on.

What's included

Four products in one, and the compliance underneath them.

There is no “compliance add-on” and no separate donor module to buy. The platform is one system, and the price covers all of it.

That matters because the alternative is not one cheaper tool, it is four: a donor CRM, an application portal, a disbursement ledger, and reporting, plus the engineering to keep them in sync. Under §25F the separate-account rule bars commingling, so those stitched-together tools cannot legally hold the funds in the first place.

Included in every subscription
  • Donor collection

Onboarding, ACH and card, per-donor §25F receipts.

  • Family applications

Document upload, document review, eligibility checked at or below 300% of area median gross income (AMGI), award letters.

  • School disbursement

    Portals, per-student ledgers, mid-year transfers, SIS tie-ins.

  • Admin & reporting

Review, award assignment, on-platform email, state + federal reports.

  • Compliance throughout

90/10 cap tracking and an audit-ready trail, built into every surface from one reconciling ledger.

How pricing works

Pay for what keeps you under the cap.

Every SGO runs under the same rule: at least 90% of donations go to scholarships, and no more than 10% covers everything else, your staff, your operations, your audit, and your software. Done by hand, verifying income, issuing receipts, reconciling disbursements, and filing reports breaks the cap. Automation is the only way to legally operate under it.

That is the value, not the number. SGO Software is priced inside the 10%: around a 3% transaction fee on donations, in exchange for the four products and the engineering you would otherwise pay for separately. The software pays for itself by keeping you compliant, and you see the exact figure for your program before you commit.

What your quote covers
  • One platform, all four surfaces

Donors, Families, Schools, and Admin in one system, scoped to your states and volume. No setup fee, no per-seat pricing, no compliance add-on.

  • Donation processing on regulated rails

ACH and card on regulated, chartered banking rails. We never custody your funds, and low-cost ACH sends more of every donation to a scholarship.

  • One clear number, before you commit

Your quote shows the transaction fee as a share of donations, around 3%, inside your 10% cap.

Forming a brand-new SGO?

§25F donations open January 1, 2027, and every SGO starts from zero on the same day. Early-stage organizations preparing for launch are exactly who the platform is for. Talk to us early: it is easier to build on the platform from the start than to migrate onto it later.

Be ready the day §25F donations open

January 1, 2027 is the same starting line for every SGO. See the platform built from the ground up for §25F: it turns every school you serve into a donor channel, then handles eligibility, disbursement, and reporting in one compliant system. You receive donations and choose scholarships, the platform does the rest.
